Chairman of the Supreme Council of the WAC Mussa Ekzekov and the Congress team attended a ceremonial meeting at the Abkhazian Drama Theater dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Vladislav Ardzinba's birth.

Presentations were made by: President Badra Gunba, political figure, head of the “United Abkhazia” party Sergei Shamba, former Prime Minister, member of the Public Chamber Sokrat Dzhindzholiia, State Duma deputy Konstantin Zatulin and other public and political figures of Abkhazia and Russia.

In his speech, Mussa Ekzekov emphasized the exceptional role of Ardzinba in the victory in the Patriotic War of the People of Abkhazia and the formation of Abkhazian statehood.

"Vladislav Ardzinba and his team did not just build a state, they filled sovereignty with meaning, turning it from an idea into reality. Today, facing new challenges, we once again turn to this legacy - it serves us as a compass, and a support, and a reminder that serving the people is the highest goal of power." 

In his speech, Mussa Khabalevich noted that it is a great honor for him to be next to those who maintain the memory of Vladislav Ardzinba and continue his work. 

"Despite all the dangers, in 1992, the first Congress of the Abkhaz-Abaza people was held in Abkhazia. Vladislav Grigorievich was the mastermind of the future World Abaza Congress, the idea of ​​​​unity. Let the life of Vladislav Ardzinba remind us that statehood is not symbols, but daily work, discipline and selfless faith in your people."

Mussa Ekzekov also visited a photo exhibition that opened in the foyer of the Drama Theater. The photographs show different stages of life and work of Vladislav Ardzinba.
