In terms of history, 30 years is a short period, but for us it is an occasion to analyze the work done and outline strategic plans for the future.

The Congress was founded in 1992 by prominent public and state figures in a crucial historical period for Abkhazia. Since that moment, as one big family, we have systematically implemented projects aimed at uniting the people, creating conditions for the return of compatriots to their historical homeland, strengthening and developing civil society while preserving the native language, culture and traditions.

In the modern history of Abkhazia, especially in the processes of globalization and cultural transformation throughout the world, the World Abaza Congress plays a fundamental role in preserving the identity of our ethnic group.

Today we are responsible for the preservation and transmission of this invaluable knowledge and cultural heritage to future generations. They contain the centuries-old wisdom and strength of our people, which we are gathering to use for the benefit of the country's development.

We have created conditions for Abkhazians and Abaza from all over the world to follow what is happening in their historical homeland in an accessible format in six languages. They can study the history and traditions of their people, communicate with each other and, most importantly, participate in projects implemented by the congress team in places of operation of representative offices.

We are going to continue the process of opening representative offices in all parts of the world where our compatriots live.

Therefore, together we will continue to strengthen cultural, educational and sports bridges, as a force contributing to the establishment of strong ties between Abkhazia and the states of residence of the Abaza people.

We are a well-coordinated team aimed at strengthening and developing the country.

We are a system in which everyone is aware that the basis for the success of the Abkhaz-Abaza people and the Republic of Abkhazia is the preservation of national identity, native language, ancient culture and rich traditions.

Our ancestors created everything we rely on today. Our duty is to work actively to comply with their wisdom and strength, to preserve the traditions of the people, to bring our culture to the world, which makes us kinder, more courteous to relatives and friends, to women and children, to elders.

By preserving our culture and traditions, we create, enrich the world and contribute to the overall development of humanity.

We are confidently moving along this path, and we invite everyone to join us in creating a world based on national traditions and culture.
