Nature

13 Abaza villages in Karachay-Cherkessia are part of four municipal districts. Inzhich-Chukun, Elburgan, Psyzh, Kubina and Kara-Pago are united in the Abaza region, where mid-mountain terrain prevails. Staro-Kuvinsk, Novo-Kuvinsk, Apsua, Malo-Abazinsk, Abaza-Khabl and Tapanta are located in the predominantly flat Adyg-Khabl region. Krasny Vostok occupies a mountainous and hilly area in the Malokarachaevsky district at an altitude of about 1000 meters above sea level. Koidan is located in the foothill zone of the Ust-Dzhegutinsky district.

The nature of each municipal district is unique and differs from its neighbors in its characteristics: some are dominated by mountainous terrain with a large number of meadows and forests; some have many river valleys, which in some places form magnificent canyons. Some areas are distinguished by an abundance of steppes rich in fertile soil.

However, all these areas have one thing in common: rich nature and a mild climate, which together create favorable conditions for life.
