National dances, songs and folk procession: Flag Day was celebrated in Abkhazia

Festive events in honor of the Flag Day in Sukhum began with a motorcycle and bike ride organized by the Moto Abkhazia and Ridebike Apsny communities.

Anyone could take part in the races.

Representatives of the older generation also took part in the festive bike ride

The columns were visible from afar, as bicycles and motorcycles were decorated with the Abkhaz flag.

Everyone could take a photo with bikers. There were many people interested in.

Many of the guests of the holiday - both children and adults - dressed up in national costumes. Some of them sewed their outfits specially for the National Flag Day.

Other passers-by and guests of the holiday did not miss the opportunity to take a joint photo with those who came to the event in national costumes.

An exhibition was organized for all guests. The exhibits were the national banners of Abkhazia adopted in different historical periods.

The key event of the day was the people's march, which was led by the People's Artist of the Republic of Abkhazia Arvelod Tarba with the main symbol of the country in his hands.
