The World Abaza Congress, together with the Drama Theater, continues its project, which has become a gateway to the world of culture and art for many schoolchildren. The first guests of the theater in 2026 were children from the village of Tamshch.

The program began with a deep immersion into the history of the cultural institution. Eleonora Kogoniia, an honored journalist of Abkhazia and actress, led the students on a fascinating tour. She explained the theater etiquette, the meaning of respect for an artist's work, and why silence in the auditorium is also part of the creative process.

The children were particularly delighted with the backstage tour. They were told that a performance is the result of the coordinated work of directors, makeup artists, lighting technicians, and set designers. The students were able to personally interact with the troupe members and witness how the magic of the stage is born from painstaking daily work.

"From the moment we arrived at the theater, we were immediately immersed in this unique atmosphere. We were given a fascinating tour - the theater actors, production directors, and makeup artists shared many new and interesting facts. We were then treated to some snacks at the buffet, and soon the performance itself began. The evening left many impressions. I will remember this trip for a long time," one of the students shared her impressions.

This trip was more than just entertainment for the rural schoolchildren; it was a chance to expand their horizons. The organizers emphasize that the project is aimed at making national theater accessible and understandable to children from all regions of the republic.

"Attending such a tour is a huge privilege. We know many theater lovers, but few are privileged to glimpse into its secret world. I am happy that our children have this opportunity, because the Abkhazian theater is the heritage of our entire nation," noted director Madina Argun.
