Alisa Khutaba
The event was organized by the ANO "Center for Media Strategies" and the Department of Oriental Studies at the Institute of Sociology and Regional Studies (ISiR) of the Southern Federal University (SFU). The event brought together leading Russian and international experts to analyze key political, economic, and social processes in strategically important regions. Our colleague, Khishba Naur Beslanovich, a specialist in the Department of Education, Social Engagement and Healthcare at the World Abaza Congress, participated in the forum and gave a presentation on: "Society, Identity, and Foreign Policy: How Abkhazia is Building Its Future."
"It was a great pleasure to participate in such a meeting and get to know very interesting and passionate people. I am pleased that the Rostov scientific and media communities see the value in strengthening dialogue between experts and active representatives of post-Soviet societies, and I am confident that this will bring tangible benefits in the future for all participants in such initiatives," Khishba noted.
Key topics for discussion at the forum:
● Ideology and Society: the phenomenon of Pan-Turkism and its influence on socio-political processes;
● Geopolitical Rivalry: an analysis of the strategies and interests of the world's largest players in the region;
● Security and Conflict Resolution: solutions to long-standing problems (Karabakh, Afghanistan) and internal contradictions;
