1,200 sets of winter clothes, received in Abkhazia from the Abkhaz-Abaza Diaspora from Turkey as humanitarian aid, were handed over by the WAC to charitable organizations for distribution to families in need.

Winter clothing sets, provided earlier by the Abkhaz-Abaza Diaspora from Turkey for those in need of Abkhazia, were sent to charitable organizations for subsequent targeted distribution.
Humanitarian aid to charitable organizations and associations was given by the World Abaza Congress.
«We believe that this is not the last action of this kind, said the Executive Secretary of the WAC Inar Gitsba. - We will try to attract more representatives of the Diaspora to participate in such actions. We hope that this humanitarian assistance will provide at least the minimum that needy families need.»
Congressional staff brought dozens of sets of winter clothes to the organization «Association of Disabled of the Patriotic War of the People of Abkhazia» of Sukhum and Sukhum district, «Association of Disabled Women - Participants of the Patriotic War of the People of Abkhazia1992-1993», «Kiaraz», as well as the Ministry of Repatriation of the RA.
«We have a social commission that will study humanitarian aid, the circle of the most needy families will be determined, all the kits will be given to them,» said the Repatriation Minister Beslan Dbar, thanking the organizers of the action.
Gratitude for the help was expressed during the transfer of clothing directly by the wards of the organizations.
«I have six children. The oldest is 17, the youngest is 8. I bring them up alone, my husband has gone five years ago. Of course, «Kiaraz» helps us. And today we are all grateful to our brothers from Turkey and the World Abaza Congress for winter clothes. You have no idea what kind of help this is,» said Nani Tsurtsumiya, the ward of «Kiaraz», from the village of Lashkindar, Ochamchira district.
A part of the cargo of humanitarian aid was handed over to Kabardino-Balkaria for distribution to the mothers of volunteers who died during the Patriotic War of Abkhazia.
The head of the «Association of Disabled Women - Participants of the Patriotic War of the People of Abkhazia 1992-1993» Larisa Tarba also thanked the organizers of the action.
«I am pleasantly surprised. Thanks to the Congress and those who participated in the organization of the action. Thank you for bringing gifts to disabled women, veterans of the Georgian-Abkhaz war. It is very nice to realize that we are remembered,» said Tarba.
Representatives of the Abkhaz-Abaza Diaspora in Turkey in September of this year, at the initiative of the WAC Supreme Council member Akhmet Hapat, collected and transferred 1,200 sets of warm clothes to the needy families of Abkhazia, including 400 children’s, 250 men’s, 550 women's sets. On October 4, the cargo was delivered to Sukhum. All clothes are brand new, manufacturers have provided them directly from their textile factories – Şik Örme, HSM Tekstil, Karadağ Tekstil, Hayber Tekstil, Dark Tekstil, Espira Tekstil, Anemon Tekstil, Berfin.
