Route completed: WAC organized an excursion day to the sanctuaries of Abkhazia
As part of the “Aimadara” project, the WAC department for work with local representative offices held another excursion day. This time it was organized for students of the Mgudzyrkhua village Secondary School. At the request of the sightseers themselves, the route passed through the holy places of the eastern part of Abkhazia: Dranda Cathedral, Mokva Orthodox Cathedral and Ilor Temple. A bonus was a visit to the Abrskil’s Cave in Otap. The trip was accompanied by an informative story from the history teacher of the Mgudzyrkhua School, Saida Gunba. For most sightseers, the places visited were new and previously unknown. It was an interesting and eventful day.
Despite the exhausting route, the schoolchildren completed it with songs and dances.
