Video tour of the hall of Makhadzhirs in the Gudauta Museum of the PWPA
May 21 marked 160 years since the end of the Caucasian War. As a result of the Makhadzhirism, thousands of representatives of the Abkhaz-Abaza ethnic group left their homeland and found refuge in Turkey and other countries of the Middle East.
In the Gudauta Museum of the Patriotic War of the People of Abkhazia, a sculpture personifying the Makhadzhirism is presented. The author is sculptor and artist Alkhas Kurmazia.
