WAC organized a medical examination of students from Agubedia and Reka schools.
The World Abaza Congress held a medical examination in the village of Agubedia. Students from the village of Reka also underwent a medical examination. Schoolchildren and teachers with ready test results were examined by a group of doctors of various profiles, which included endocrinologists, cardiologists, a pediatrician, a rehabilitation specialist, a neurologist, an ophthalmologist and an ENT doctor. The doctors were assisted by students of the medical college and volunteers. Children and adults were provided with medical and consultative assistance, examinations were conducted, and the necessary treatment was prescribed. Patients with identified issues have been assigned for additional examinations. A total of 129 students underwent a medical examination.
The medical examination of students from rural schools in Abkhazia is a project of the World Abaza Congress, implemented with the support of the Ministry of Health of the Republic.
