Students of the "Abaza" sports club became prize winners of tournaments in Yessentuki and Nalchik
Young wrestlers Nestor Arlan, Damir Adzhiev, Abazg Fet-ogly and Osman Khagba took second and third places in the all-Russian tournament "Junior volnik" and the Cup of Defenders of the North-Eastern Military District on June 21 in Yessentuki.
The competition brought together about 430 athletes from Kabardino-Balkaria, Karachay-Cherkessia, Ingushetia, Chechnya, North and South Ossetia, Kalmykia, Krasnodar Region, Moscow, Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug (Surgut), Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, Armenia and Abkhazia.
Students of the "Abaza" sports club also took part in the Interregional Open Tournament in sports wrestling, which was held in Nalchik on June 22. Adzhiev Damir (48kg-3m) and Khagba Osman (41kg-3m) won bronze medals.
The athletes are trained by Igor Beraya and Merab Khashba.
