Mussa Ekzekov expressed his condolences over the death of people during the earthquakes in Turkey and Syria

Mussa Ekzekov expressed condolences over the series of earthquakes in Turkey and Syria that caused loss of life and destruction:
"The strongest earthquakes of 7.7 magnitude occurred in the south-east of Turkey and affected the Syrian provinces of Aleppo, Latakia, Hama and Tartus.

Unfortunately, among the victims in Turkey there are also our compatriots: 8 wounded and one dead. This information was confirmed by the Plenipotentiary of Abkhazia in Turkey, Ibrahim Avidzba. Among the Adygs, 12 people died, 28 were injured, 10 of them are in serious condition.

We express our sincere condolences to the families and friends of the victims and wish a speedy recovery to all the injured."

Inar Gitsba met with Chairman of the Abkhazfed Murat Makharia.

As part of a working visit to Turkey, the WAC Executive Secretary Inar Gitsba met with the Chairman of the Abkhazian Cultural Centers in Turkey (Abkhazfed) Murat Makharia on February 5. The meeting was also attended online by the Plenipotentiary of Abkhazia in Turkey Ibrahim Avidzba, members of the Supreme Council of the WAC from Turkey and Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Repatriation Astamur Bagatelia.
During the meeting, the proposals of the Chairman of the WAC Supreme Council Mussa Ekzekov on the development of interaction between the WAC and the Abkhazfed were addressed in detail. The submitted proposals were supplemented by projects developed by the Federation of Abkhazian Cultural Centers, and plans were outlined for their implementation.

A meeting of the WAC representatives and Abkhazfed took place in the Republic of Turkey.

As part of the implementation of plans for the development of systemic cooperation between the WAC and the Abkhazfed, a meeting was held between the WAC Executive Secretary Inar Gitsba and representatives of the Abkhazfed.  The Chairman of the Supreme Council of the WAC Mussa Ekzekov and the Chief of Staff of the chairman Kan Tania also took part in the meeting online. During the negotiations, the participants discussed a wide range of issues, in particular, a project proposal to intensify and enhance cooperation between the WAC and Abkhazfed.  The meeting was held in the new building of the Abkhazian cultural center in Sakarya. The building was built thanks to donations from representatives of the Abkhaz-Abaza Diaspora, in particular the Chairman of the Supreme Council of the WAC.
