The international Abkhazian national game "Aimtsakiachara" tournament started in Abkhazia
For the first time, the republican international Abkhazian national game "Aimtsakiachara" tournament is being held in Abkhazia. It is organized by the World Abaza Congress, the State Committee for Repatriation, the State Committee for Youth and Sports, the Department of Youth and Sports of the Sukhum Municipal Administration.
8 teams from our country, as well as the Abkhazian team from the Turkish Republic will compete for the championship in the final. The first day of the tournament began with the laying of flowers at the memorial to the victims in the Park of Glory. At the official opening, the Deputy Head of the Sukhum Municipal Administration Avtandil Surmanidze, Chairman of the State Committee for Repatriation Vadim Kharazia, Chairman of the State Committee for Youth Affairs and Sports Tarash Khagba, Head of the Sukhum Office of the WAC Temur Rekvava, and Head of the village of Balbaly (Kaldakhuara) in Turkey Erjai Pachkoria made welcoming speeches.
The tournament will last until and including September 6. We invite everyone to take part and cheer for the teams at the Dynamo stadium in Sukhum! Free entry.
