Presentation of Alexander Malkevich's documentary series about Abkhazia in St. Petersburg
A presentation of the documentary series "Abkhazia: More Than Just Neighbors" was held in the Admiralty District Administration of St. Petersburg. The project belongs to Russian journalist and member of the Legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg, Alexander Malkevich.
Abzagu Tsvizhba, the head of the Congress's staff, spoke at the event on behalf of the World Abaza Congress (WAC). He thanked Alexander Malkevich and the entire project team for their work and this important public initiative, which significantly contributes to strengthening cultural and humanitarian ties. Tsvizhba also conveyed words of gratitude and support to the author from Mussa Khabalevich Ekzekov, Chairman of the Supreme Council of the WAC and President of the International Association "Alashara."
The project's five episodes reveal Abkhazia from different perspectives:
· Journey to the Pearl of the Caucasus;
· Journey to Holy Places;
· Sukhum: A City Through the Ages;
· War of Independence: An Unconquered Nation;
· Immortal Regiment. A separate episode is dedicated to the heroes of Abkhazia during the Great Patriotic War.
After the film was shown, Abzagu Tsvizhba presented Alexander Malkevich and his colleagues with commemorative gifts on behalf of Mussa Ekzekov.
