Over the past week, 912 cases of coronavirus infection were detected in Abkhazia. 3313 people passed the COVID-19 test. This was announced by the Operational Headquarters for the Protection of the Population from Coronavirus Infection.
According to the Operational Headquarters, at the moment, there are 112 patients in the Gudauta Central District Hospital, of which 91 people with confirmed coronavirus infection. There are 29 people in serious condition, 46 patients of moderate severity.
There are 35 patients with a confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19 in the Sukhum Infectious Diseases Hospital, 22 in the Ochamchira Central District Hospital, 15 in the Tkuarchal Central District Hospital, 32 in the Gagra Central District Hospital, and 50 patients in a mobile military hospital.
“The total number of detected cases of coronavirus in Abkhazia today is 9961 people. Of these, 7506 recovered and 142 patients died,” Operational HQ reports.
The Operational Headquarters for the Protection of the Population from Coronavirus Infection calls on the citizens of Abkhazia to observe all necessary precautions to avoid infection.
