Evening at the Theatre: WAC continues the project for rural schools students
The World Abaza Congress and the Abkhazian State Drama Theatre named after S. Chanba continue to fulfill the "Evening at the Theatre" joint project. This time, its participants were schoolchildren from the village of Bambora.
Actress and Honored Journalist of Abkhazia Eleonora Kogoniia gave a tour of the theatre - shared interesting facts from its history, told about iconic performances that left a mark on Abkhazian art. She explained to the children how important it is to respect the work of artists and other theatre employees, to keep quiet during the performance and to show respect to those performing on stage.
Then the schoolchildren were taken backstage, where they met the members of the troupe and learned a lot of interesting things about the process of creating a performance and the profession of an artist.
The main event of the evening was the performance of the "Mirandolina" play by director Alkhas Shamba.
The tour of the theater ended with a visit to the theater buffet, where a delicious treat was organized for the project participants.
