Employees of the World Abaza Congress, at the invitation of the head of the Museum of Military Glory named after Vladislav Ardzinba Mziya Beya, took part in commemorative events in honor of the Hero of Abkhazia Alkhazur Suleymanov on September 23.
Alkhazur Suleymanov is one of the first Chechen volunteers who came to Abkhazia and fought in the PWPA in 1992-1993.
Commemorative events were dedicated to the transfer of the Hero's personal belongings to the Museum by his wife Angela Suleymanova: a certificate of the Hero of Abkhazia, a military uniform, swords, a nominal pistol donated by Vladislav Ardzinba and other relics.  In January 2022, at the age of 63, Alkhazur Suleymanov passed away.
