WAC resumed a career guidance project for high school students
As part of the work with local representative branches, the WAC Department for Education, Social Activity and Health continued after the summer holidays a project related to the vocational guidance of high school students. The next training took place in the Secondary School of the village of Mgudzyrkhua, Gudauta region. It was conducted by WAC employees Izolda Khagba and Naur Khishba.
It was attended by a teacher of construction disciplines at the Sukhum State College Alisa Bartsyts, philologist-translator Saria Kaslandzia, manager of her own ceramic studio “Rama” Saria Adzinba, and production editor of the “Sputnik Abkhazia” news agency. 28 high school students took part in the conversation. Young people asked questions and shared plans for the future.
Vocational guidance is carried out in schools in Abkhazia with the aim to allow young people to gain knowledge and skills necessary for choosing a future profession. This is the ninth trip organized by the WAC.
