WAC continues medical examination.
The World Abaza Congress began to launch its projects after a long New Year break. Thus, the WAC team together with the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Abkhazia continued a joint project on medical examination of rural schoolchildren.
The first trip in 2025 took place in the village of Adzyubzha. Cardiologists Irina Bondareva and Oksana Lakerbaya together with nurse Madina Kilba, otolaryngologist Lana Mikanba, neurologist Saida Kondzhariia, neurologist, ultrasound diagnostician Albina Khodzhava, ophthalmologist Fatima Sanguliia, pediatrician Azamat Khibba, rehabilitation specialist Arzadin Agrba, urologist Yuri Zarandiia, endocrinologists Renata Ankvab and Khamida Dzhikirba visited the Adzyubzha Secondary School to conduct a medical examination. With the results of the general clinical blood and glucose analysis already in hand, the schoolchildren went to see doctors for examination.
More than 100 students and teachers of the school were examined. Traditionally, doctors were assisted by volunteers - students of the ASU.
