WAC distributed educational cards to schools in Gagra, Gudauta and Sukhum regions
This year, the World Abaza Congress launched an educational project for schools in Abkhazia. As part of the project, cards with vibrant images and text were developed, the purpose of which is to help children learn words in their native language, learn the rules of apsuara and master the norms of behavior in society. The project is run by Inna Dzhugeliia, a teacher at the Abkhaz language department at ASU, and Esma Kvitsiniia, a specialist at the WAC department for youth development and physical education, is the head of the project.
By the beginning of the school year, the WAC team handed over sets of cards to region education departments, from where they will be distributed to schools. The benefits have already been received by students in Gagra, Gudauta and Sukhum regions. Sets of cards will be handed over to Tkuarchal, Gal and Ochamchira regions soon.
