On behalf of the Chairman of the Supreme Council, the WAC will create a Discussion club in the KChR.

The World Abaza Congress on behalf of the Chairman of the Supreme Council of the WAC Mussa Ekzekov will create a Discussion club in Karachay-Cherkessia, similar to the already operating club in Abkhazia.

This platform will allow uniting talented youth to develop new solutions aimed at the development of the people of Abaza and the Karachay-Cherkess Republic as a whole.

Discussion club members will be able to choose topics for discussion themselves, and moderators will invite experts in their respective fields. Experts will help to understand the causes of certain problems and ways to solve them. Upon completion of the first stage - discussions - projects will be created, which will be presented to the Chairman of the WAC for approval and grant support.

The chief of the WAC staff, Kan Tania, told some of the details of the creation of the Discussion Club format itself. This was preceded by the task for the WAC team "to creatively build work on an even more effective distribution of Mussa Ekzekov’s grants for the preservation and development of the Abkhaz-Abaza language, culture, history and traditions."

"We thought on how to simultaneously involve both the younger generation and the expert community to address this issue? This is how the idea of creating a Discussion club came up, which was slightly corrected by Mussa Khabalevich, and at this stage in Sukhum projects are already being successfully implemented in the development of the native language, ecology, health of mothers and children," said Tania.

The club`s meetings are planned to be held at least once every two weeks. In addition to the work of the main direction of the club, connected with obtaining grants, parallel platforms will also start operating, for example, the Parents' сlub, where a variety of lectures and trainings for parents will be held.

The number of places in the first stream of work of the Discussion сlub in the KChR is limited. Therefore the organizers ask everyone to fill out a questionnaire and send it to the e-mail indicated in the questionnaire via social networks, or submit it in person at the office of the ANO "Alashara" (Mussa Ekzekov is also the President of the ANO "Alashara" – ed.) in Cherkessk.

The WAC Discussion club in Abkhazia was opened in November 2019. Its activities are carried out in several directions: it is the preservation of the language, moral, ethical and cultural heritage of the Abaza people, the popularization of national science, environmental protection and others. The members of the club are mostly young people. In 2019-2020, the Sukhum club was working in the ecological direction. This section was attended by 23 people. The Parents' club, which has become very popular, also successfully operates in the Discussion club of Abkhazia.
