WAC held a lecture within the "Ирӡтәым" project
The joint project of the World Abaza Congress and Inna Dzhugeliia "Ирӡтәым" continues its work. This time it was held in the format of an excursion. Students of Chlou Secondary School visited two Sukhum museums - the Omar Beyguaa museum and the Bank of Abkhazia museum.
The director of the house-museum Dmitry Gabeliia told in detail about Beyguaa as a historian and Caucasus expert, linguist, publicist, poet and one of the most prominent representatives of the Abkhazian Diaspora in Turkey. The schoolchildren learned a lot about other outstanding representatives of the Abkhazian Diaspora: scholars, politicians, artists, writers, athletes.
Then the young guests of the capital visited the Bank of Abkhazia museum, where in addition to a fascinating story about the history of monetary units, everyone could mint coins on a special machine. After the tour the participants went home filled with new knowledge, positive impressions and vivid emotions.
