Conference of members of the Abkhazian national games Federation was held in Sukhum.
The second conference of the Federation on Abkhazian national games was held at the State Committee for Youth Affairs and Sports of the Republic of Abkhazia.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the State Committee represented by Chairman Tarash Khagba, President of the Federation Adgur Gunba, Head of the Sukhum office of the WAC Temur Rekvava and Head of the Youth and Physical Culture Department of the WAC Valery Berzeniia, Head of the Department of Physical Education, Sports and Pre-Conscription Training of the Ministry of Education Aslan Tarkil, as well as coaches and participants of the aimtsakiachara teams.
The main agenda of the conference was the formation of the structure of positions of the Federation. Valery Berzeniia and the head coach of the Chlou aimtsakiachara team Ansou Anua were elected vice-presidents of the Federation through discussion and open voting. The composition of the Board of Trustees and the Federation Council will also be approved soon.
In his speech, Adgur Gunba noted that the Federation member teams will take part in a sports event dedicated to the Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War. The games will be held in the capital of Abkhazia, on the Freedom Square, on May 6. In addition, the Federation will soon present its logo to the public.
The Federation of Abkhazian National Games was created in 2024. At the first conference, members of the initiative group elected the President of the Federation and established the charter.
