Films "History of Abkhazia"
What is Abkhazia? A land of the soul, a land of mountains, hills, and waterfalls, a sovereign Caucasian republic on the shores of the Black Sea. That is today. But what was it like hundreds or thousands of years ago?

WAC provided targeted assistance to the village of Okum
As part of its targeted assistance, WAC donated equipment for the kindergarten in the Okum village, including a gas stove and a laptop, to the local branch in Tkuarchal.

Mussa Ekzekov took part in the "Abkhazia: Investment in the Future" forum
Mussa Ekzekov, Chairman of the Supreme Council of the World Abaza Congress, participated in the first international economic forum "Abkhazia: Investment in the Future," grand opening of which took place in Sukhum.
The forum is dedicated to the economic development of Abkhazia, strengthening partnership with the Russian Federation, and supporting entrepreneurship. The event brought together more than 15 delegations from various regions of Russia, as well as federal ministries. The signing of a number of bilateral documents is expected to provide additional impetus for the implementation of joint projects.
The forum is attended by President Badra Gunba, Vice President Beslan Bigvava, First Deputy Head of Presidential Administration of Russia Sergei Kiriyenko, President of South Ossetia Alan Gagloyev, members of Parliament, members of the governments of Abkhazia and Russia, and multiple guests.
"Audience, Congress and Theater: A Joint Discussion of "The Naked King"
The World Abaza Congress, in partnership with the Abkhazian Theater, held the second meeting of the Discussion Club. It took place immediately after watching "The Naked King" play.
The production was directed by Tamerlan Dzudtsov, who has made over 30 successful performances. He managed to bring together actors from several generations on the stage of the Abkhazian Theater, creating a harmonious and tight knit ensemble.
During the discussion people didn't simply share their impressions and ask the director questions, but they explored the artistic images, searched for hidden symbols, and reflected on how classic works resonate in a modern interpretation.
The meeting was vivid, open, and truly substantive. It demonstrated how theater can become a platform for dialogue and joint exploration of meaningful insights.
Grants for young people: social project trainings continue
A two-day training seminar on the fundamentals of social project planning was held in the village of Mgudzyrkhua. The seminar program covered both theoretical aspects and practical exercises in developing grant initiatives. Participants gained valuable knowledge about the mechanisms for receiving support under the “Rosmolodezh.Grants” project.
Trainings were organized by the State Committee of the Republic of Abkhazia for Youth and Sports in collaboration with the World Abaza Congress and the Representative Office of the World Youth Festival Directorate in Abkhazia. The main purpose of seminars is to prepare young people for active participation in social projects and initiatives, thereby promoting community development and increasing youth engagement in social processes.
WAC team took part in excavations on the Dioscurs’ Embankment.
The congress team took part in archaeological excavations currently underway in Sukhum near the Dioscurs’ Embankment. Our friendly squad could not bypass this wonderful opportunity to be involved in the work of such great historical significance!
