WAC conducted a first aid training in the school of Achandara village

Within the project of the WAC department on education, social activity and health, together with the invited specialist of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Indira Amichba, a training was held on first aid for schoolchildren in the village of Achandara. At the training, schoolchildren were told how to properly provide first aid for burns, fainting, bites, fractures, bleeding and other emergency situations. The children were shown how to properly bandage wounds, do CPR and indirect heart massage. After the training, representatives of the WAC presented a first-aid kit with the necessary drugs to the medical center of the school, and also left a meaningful memo that describes the types of assistance in emergency situations.

The WAC team participated in organising the boxing tournament

The national boxing tournament was held in the village of Bzyb on December 17 with the support of the Congress team. The tournament was dedicated to the memory of the Abkhazian and Abaza forced migrants to Turkey.
Boxers from all over Abkhazia took part in the competition. In total, 70 athletes were represented and 35 fights were held. The Sukhum branch of the WAC assisted in the acquisition of award attributes for the participants of the tournament. The Congress team expresses special gratitude for the help to Denis Otyrba
The national boxing tournament this year was the fourth. Previously, the tournament was dedicated to the memory of the participants of the Great Patriotic War, the PWPA and the soldiers who fell in the March 1993 offensive.
