"Letters of War": Astamur Ezugbaya's letter to his family
The World Abaza Congress launched the "Letters of War" project ("Аибашьра асаламшәҟәы" - ed.).
The project brings together letters from participants and witnesses of the war, addressed to relatives and friends. The stories of the war years are read out by the WAC employees. The project is symbolically launched on the day of the beginning of the Patriotic War of the People of Abkhazia. Videos will be published every three days on social networks and on the official website of the Congress until September 30th.
The WAC continues preparations for the national games tournament.
The head of the World Abaza Congress for the Development of Youth and Physical Culture, Valery Berzeniia, continues to conduct master classes on national sports games. The next master class on three kind of games "Аимҵакьача", "Хылпахас" and "Мцымца" was held for the students of the Tkhina Secondary School. Despite the fact that the upcoming tournament is designed for 9-11 graders, junior schoolchildren also expressed their desire to participate in the game. 15 students took part in the master class. From the first minutes of the game, it was obvious how much young participants are interested in national sports. Most of all they liked the "Аимҵакьача" game, in which the outcome of the competition is decided by agility and speed.
The result of the master classes will be a national games tournament among the district schools of Abkhazia, which will be held in the "Apsny" ethnopark in September this year.
