WAC conducted training on ecology in the village of Uarcha.
The Department of the World Abaza Congress on Education, Social Activity and Health, together with senior teacher of ASU Maya Tsybulevskaya, conducted an environmental training for students of the Uarcha secondary school named after D.I. Gulia.
During the training, environmental problems of the urban environment in Abkhazia were discussed, such as the destruction of green areas and disruption of ecosystems, insufficient wastewater treatment, air pollution and waste disposal. The training also covered the use of pesticides and chemical fertilizers that pollute soil and water resources, deforestation and loss of biodiversity.
Schoolchildren took an active part in the training. They not only discussed problems, but also suggested possible ways to solve them.
