Abkhazian wrestlers won nine medals in the “Call of Olympus” tournament.
Abkhazian freestyle wrestlers won nine multiple medals in the open tournament “Call of Olympus” in Gelendzhik on March 29. More than 200 young athletes from Rostov, Anapa, Gelendzhik, Tuapse, Krasnodar, and Adygea took part in the tournament.
Abkhazia was represented by the Sukhum team “Massive” consisting of 11 people. First place was taken by David Kilba and Danil Basaria. Silver awards were won by Denis Zantaria, Vladlen Kapba, Alan Borolovets and Alyas Khadzhinba. Lasha Chkhebelia, Arsen Kutelia and Nazar Karaakhmed were awarded bronze. The children are coached by Viktor Borolovets and Almas Ketsba.
The Chairman of the Supreme Council of the WAC, Mussa Ekzekov, assisted in the participation of athletes in the tournament. Congratulations to the young wrestlers on their victory!
