Gala concert of the winners of the Alisa Gitsba competition was held in St. Petersburg.
The Great Hall of the Catherine’s Assembly in St. Petersburg hosted a gala concert of the laureates of the Alisa Gitsba International Music Competition. Representatives of the Abkhaz-Abaza Diaspora came to support the participants.
The team of the World Abaza Congress, on behalf of the Chairman of the WAC Mussa Khabalevich Ekzekov, presented Alisa Gitsba with a bouquet and thanked her for her contribution to the development of cultural cooperation between Russia and Abkhazia. Alisa Gitsba is an Honored Artist of Russia, People's Artist of Abkhazia, soloist of the Moscow Musical Theater Helikon-Opera.
The Alisa Gitsba International Music Competition was established in 2022 in honor of the fifteenth anniversary of recognition of the independence of the Republic of Abkhazia by the Russian Federation. The competition was held from October 15 to 26, 2023 in Russia and Abkhazia, and on March 10, a gala concert of the competition laureates took place in St. Petersburg.
