Lecture-excursion: Kaldakhuara schoolchildren within the “Ирӡтәым” project
Another lecture of the “Irӡtaym” project was held as part of the joint project of the WAC and the teacher of the Department of Abkhaz Language of ASU Inna Dzhugeliia.
This time the lecture format has been slightly changed. It was timed to coincide with the International Museum Day and was complemented by a tour of the main museums of the capital. Students of the Kaldakhuara boarding school visited the Abkhazian State Museum of Ethnography, where they were given an interesting excursion by museum researcher Ilona Kvitsiniia. The children learned about the historical past and present of their country. The museum is one of the most interesting attractions in Sukhum.
Students also visited the Museum of Military Glory named after Vladislav Ardzinba. Here they visited halls reflecting all the main stages of the history of the Patriotic War of the people of Abkhazia in 1992-1993.
Guests of the capital touched history and culture and received unforgettable impressions from what they saw and heard.
A music master class was held in Tsandrypsh.
WAC and musician Abzagu Marukhba conducted a musical master class for students of Tsandrypsh Secondary School No. 2 named after N.Z. Bagateliia.
The main topic of discussion was the favorite Abkhazian songs of schoolchildren. Marukhba also told about various programs for creating arrangements and shared his knowledge in the music industry. The children actively and cheerfully participated in the discussion, sang their favorite songs, and listened carefully to the guest’s stories. Well, at the end of the master class, a song was chosen, which was sang by the choir under a professional arrangement.
The WAC musical project takes place in the format of master classes in the towns and villages of Abkhazia.
