Basics of social design training was held in the village of Aatsy.
WAC and the ANO "Public Center for Social Initiatives" continue their joint project. The training program on the basics of social design was completed for students of the Secondary school in the village of Aatsy. It is worth noting that this is the second trip under the project in 2025.
The training traditionally lasted two days and consisted of practical and theoretical parts. On the first day, instructors Mate Tskvitariia and Naida Abidova shared basic knowledge with the participants, helped them define and identify problems. On the second day, the students learned to create a budget, and, divided into teams, created several of their own projects and presented them.
The training in the Aatsy Secondary School was notable for the diversity of proposed projects. The students considered completely different problems - from a first-aid post to modernizing the school library and creating a book club. However, the winner was the project to supply the school with sports equipment - most of the students voted for it.
Basics of social design trainings have been conducted by the World Abaza Congress in the villages of Abkhazia since 2024. Since 2025, the project has been implemented jointly with the ANO "Public Center for Social Initiatives" from the city of Kamensk-Shakhtinsky, Rostov Region. It is aimed at involving schoolchildren in project activities, developing thinking and the creative process.
