WAC conducted the fifth visit for medical examination of schoolchildren and teachers.
The World Abaza Congress held the fifth medical examination visit. Examination of children and teachers took place in the Secondary School No. 1 of Pakuash village.
Following the blood sampling for general analysis and glucose, children and teachers with ready-made results were examined by a group of general practitioners: cardiologist Esma Vartagava with nurses Ilona Barkalaya and Khibla Kvitsinia, otolaryngologist Amina Bazba, neurologist Saida Kondzharia, ophthalmologist Fatima Sangulia, pediatricians Alisa Golandzia and Karina Yeremyan , as well as a representative of the Association of Rehabilitologists of Abkhazia Arzadin Agrba.
Second-year students of the Sukhum Medical College Naala Koidze, Angelina Tatulyan, Nana Karchava and Amina Mindzhia assisted the doctors. They helped fill out patient questionnaires.
ECG was done for all examined patients and, if necessary, they were given referrals for additional examinations. In total, more than 120 people took part in the medical examination.
